Combustion Chamber cleaning

While solving the rich running issue, today I pulled the plugs to find out they were total black except the edge of the Iridium tip. I cleaned them off with brake cleaner and looked inside the cylinders. They where also pretty black (not very oily but totally black).

Somehow like in the engine in the picture below.

Q1: Is it normal (I also had the rich running issue but before that they where also not very shiny)?

Q2: How can I clean it (water injection comes to mind but I was hoping for something easier to use)-I have the kit but not installed yet-

Yes. Car moves normally I just noticed it and wondering if I could clean it somehow and if it is Normal to look like that.

Can camshaft overlap cause this?

Use water injection for a while.

Just run proper mixture and floor it for a bit
That will get rid of most of it.
