    Intercooler kit S4 / S6 C4

    Has anyone tried this kit?

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/Ladeluftkuhle...item1e55ce4beb

Have search the net for some bolt-on setups as I don´t have the time and place to sort one out for myself. And I don´t want to cut so much inte the stock bumper or have visible piping, not my cup of tea...

034 motorsport seems to have one for european bumpers now:

But I like the german way better, as the piping enters and exist on different spots. Don´t know with one that works best but hopefully they do their job better then my stock cooler.

    Any suggestion?

Oh yes they are, kinda carzy to put down so much money for a intercooler core and some tubing, can maybe build one for 250 quid, but i don´t have any welding gear and a garage for the moment, can only rent one for the day and think it could be tight timewise... :/

With that price you can rent a garage for a month or so.

OMG.. what a price for IC.. they are crazy.
using that money we can make IC which will have shape of front bumper, and still look like OEM bumper. LOL

of course. they must stay OEM, because any kind of modification on it will destroy shape of this beautifle car.
have the same problem on cousins s6, because he get bigger turbo, IC.. etc .. etc..
I said; better to have 20HP less, than destroy front bumper.

What's the problem to re-shape the bumper?

The German one is stupid expensive plus the core is only 32 mm which is very likely way too thin. Pass.

Here is the link to the Audifans.net FMIC DIY with a 2.5" (63.5 mm) thick core. Not much welding required.

This one also hurt me Dave.the lower trim of the UrS6 euro bumper is the single piece.
the A6 euro bumper is multi pieces.that's why i don't want to trim it.
here's another shot on my friend's car,2.5" thick core.still need minor trimming but
lower trim is not required trimming.now this FMIC kits is laying around in my garage for years.i'm looking the way to install it w/o trimming the bumper.i'm considering molding
the RS2 style bumper and save my stock euro bumper.

Then you will have problems. GO for the Euro 1399 kit then.
