    Oil leakage driver side..

Hi! I have an annoying leakage from the driver side of the engine, somewere under under the second and third cylinder.. Is it a common thing that it leak oil from the oilstick hole if the o-ring is broken or gone ?

What size is it on that o-ring ?

There is an oil pressure sender on the side of the block that can leak, can come through the sender and out at the wires.

Worth cleaning the area and then seeing where the oil comes from.

It is actually the oil pressure switch rather than the oil pressure sender that usually leaks, there's one of each next to each other.

Pita to do, if you have an aircon rad etc. if you have small hands you might get a 17/19 mm spanner on it. But for a small switch a lot needs to come away to get full pressure on the spanner. Whilst there worth cleaning up that side of block, and check your power steering hose.

It is very likely the oil pressure switch (the white one in the photo below). More details here:

If you say intake side or exhaust side, you don't have to worry about LHD or RHD passenger side orientation issues.
