K26/K27 What to look for

I have been offered a K26/K27 Turbo and that all I know about it for now.

I have asked for details, pictures and numbers which have not arrived yet.

I am looking to upgrade my S2 ABY to RS2 spec, will this turbo be suitable if it has the right bits inside.

What must I check how do I check it.

I see things like #6 on the hot side being spoken about; I assume it has something to do with the turbine.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

The #6 is the size of the hotside. From what I know:

#6 max 380hp
#8 max 420hp
#10 max 450hp

With bigger hotside the spool is later. I hada #8 on my s2 and from what i remembered i had full boost around 4000rpm. The rest sas rs2 spec

It is stamped on the hotside

Those figures sound a bit under-rated to me.

Offer of the turbo not on the table any more so the search goes on.
