    ABY S2 running issues

Hey all hope you can help me with my woes at the moment.

For a few weeks now the car is running bad, when wot is applied give it two seconds maybe less depending on load it will judder through the steering wheel and feel like its cutting boost.

Before I experienced at 4k rpm the violent judder in the car some may say kangaroo and associated with the hall sender, pull over turn off restart away you go will be fine, somethings not.

Anyhoo it hasn't done that since having this problem which is all the time no matter if you turn the car on and off etc.

So after much reading it comes down to a hand full of faults.

    Boost leak
    Maf
    Lambda
    Coil
    Spark

What I have done so far:

Used launch to diagnosis faults, being my cousins chipped ecu only four faults came up we wiped it seeing could be related to his. Took car away still happening. Need to vagcom it soon.

N75 discounted car runs with no problems, only when at top gear low revs and building ul may sputter or misfire once or twice not all the time.

Lambda discounted test drive no difference.

Coils off, original coils inspected and found a few of the boots missing the round flared part at the bottom.. And one coil boot covered in oil assuming my slight gasket leak from cam cover. Will change soon.

Took sparks out, most decent, coil in question spark was covered in oil. All wired brushed put back in. Away I go for run no change, but felt to pull stronger. Will replace all sparks with new ones

Haven't tested boost leak, thought mike thinks more POS than boost.

Need to check the ecu line for splits.

Some speak about over boost protection. The ecu is clearly cutting the boost.

Done the famous wiggle the maf connector trick no joys.

    Where do I go now???

Clean maf? Check coil in question and all are firing. Change sparks. could it be speed sensors? List goes on

Kinda getting peed off, but it will sort.

I know there is more I could write to do. Just needing some input and a place to tick off what i have and haven't done.

The car is standard with home fried ecu at the moment.

    Cheers all chris

Sounds like a coil issue to me but it could be a POS.

Here is a POS diagnostic procedure if the miss occurs at idle (coil misses tend to be at higher boost levels, hence no issues when you disconnected the N74 WGFV):

Since it is probably a coil or a coil wire, you will probably have to test the coils for strength and potentially replace the OE coil or move to an aftermarket system. Here is a diagnostic procedure:

All of the above were linked from this diagram with live labels:

You really should fix the oil leak problem by replacing the Item 17 cam cover gasket (comes with the rings that seal the spark plug wells) (Don't forget that you have to remove the Item 19 bolts as well):
