    RS2 kit to AAN

    Hey guys...

So here we are with a new project... so, my best man just bought RS2 kit 4 his s6 AAN and were about 2 try it as soon as possible.
But , as usual theres a slight problem in the bigining so I would like to hear some of ur opinions about it.
It is about turbo... until it arived we haven noticed that one of the fins is slightly curved and the other is broken at the very end... it doesnt look like a big deal cause above that everything else look perfect and turbo looks almost brand new... former owner of that turbo said he had no problems...

and theres a pic 4 u 2 see it closely

Please tell me what should we do about it and what kind of problem can we expect?

Second thing would be MAF... so, what happens if we drive RS2 kit on AAN MAF?

    Cheers

What do you mean by "kit"?

    RS2 Exhaust manifold?
RS2 turbo? (The one you show is going to be out of balance = early death)
    RS2 injectors? http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/20441.phtml
    3 Bar MAP sensor? http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/20417.phtml
RS2 MAF? (AAN MAF will be fine: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/20442.phtml)

Software to drive all of the above to 360 to 380 crank hp?

      tnx for reply !
what it means early death ? how much km can we expect with that turbo? 1000 or 10 000 km.
what else we have to change in ECU accept chips and MAP sensor? some resistors if I remember well.. but which?

      we bought rs2 kit.

turbo , manifold ,034 replica injectors , 300kp MAP sensor, and MAF . but seller can't find it. so we dont have MAF.. jet.
what about injectors? 034 replica it is. will they be fine?
fuel pump? do we need to change it with rs2 or aan can handle it.

There is a billet RS2 wheel in testing. I would say that turbo would be ripe for that wheel.

The damage to the impeller will cause it to be out of balance and so it will put extra loading on the bearings and central shaft, thus shortening its life.

As Jamo says, get it rebuilt with a billet wheel and you'll be laughing, otherwise, there are other upgrade wheels or stock wheels that can be used for sure.

i bet you will be hearing horrible whining coming out the turbo if your impeller doing that on the photo.BTDT on my K24.

The out of balance will kill the turbo very quickly (i.e. closer to the 1000 km than 10000 km).

You don't mention software. You need "RS2" (plus) software. Generic MRC Stage 3 or 034's or an in-car remap by dmitri.

On a C4 UrS with an AAN, the stock 091G fuel pump is just barely okay with "RS2" upgrades. My car (93UrS4 with full RS2 "kit", including exhaust cam) with MRC Stage 3 software has done 289 whp (about 360 crank) on a stock size Bosch 091G fuel pump.

I run the Volvo K24-7400 (something similar to the RS2) and run standard MAF, N75, Fuel pump, although did the relay mod to the pump. The car was custom/live mapped by s2Central and we had no problem with fuel. Not sure on Power but running 28psi-22psi at higher revs. Also fitted a 3bar map to the ECU.

Fuel pump should be changed with a proper remap. K24-7400 is smaller than K24-7200 and that will be OK on a fully functional fuel pump, but I wouldn't go there with an RS2 turbo.
034 injectors are not replica in any way. They flow more, and their latency is higher, so the car runs like cr*p basically always under or over-fuelling. It's just some corvette injectors.
Besides a 300kpa MAP sensor you need other mods to the ECU. And I hope you did not pay too much for it, since it costs 15 EUR to buy new.

If you want this running you can always PM me.

You always say that but you never explain exactly what you mean. My ECU has MRC Stage 3 chips and an adjustable 3 Bar VMAP, nothing else. It is completely happy. What is it missing?
