V8 or AAN into Coupe Quattro B2?

    Hi guys,

I'll buy one Coupe Quattro B2 in next few days, so I can't decide what to do with engine swap, AHK V8 with 326HP or AAN?

I know that V8 swap is a more complicated, but my main question is regarding performances.

Will CQ be quicker (0-100km/h, 1/4 mile) with V8 or with AAN + chip?

Is there a differences in height between these two engines?

    Thanks in advance.

We thought long and hard about which engine to put into the Rallycar, and went for the AAN 20vt in the end. But secretly I still think the V8 route would have been just that little bit more 'entertaining'... The naturally aspirated throttle response, plus the low gearing of the CQ would have made for a staggeringly quick sprint car. The other thing is, the 20vt is quite refined in near standard spec, so coming from a 10vt Ur you'll probably be underwhelmed by the noise... The V8 however....

I also have 6 speed DGU transmission from Audi S6+, so what's the better option in V8 case, stay with CQ tranny or put 6 speed DGU?

I believe gear ratios better in cq box for acceleration
My aby sounds better than a 10 valve and I'm quite happy with performance and standard radiator still fits where it should

What do I need to "connect" V8 to CQ box? Is it bolt on and what clutch, flywheel... do I need?

all trannys will fit any audi engine.. so if you have a old 016 fron 85, it will fit the 2010 v8 also..and diesels too. havent checked out the v10.... remember all the small issue with clutch and flywheel.. gearlinkage, and cv and propshafts. and do have the same ratio in the front and rear....
some trannys does have elektronic speedsencor; and the car does have the wirespeeedo??

Great, so I won't remove 016, DGU will be there "just in case"

Nevermind, it will be 016 definitely, less work and possibly better gear ratios for acceleration
