Max Hp on " stock " 3B internals

Hi, i´ve resonly bought an old 200 20VT Quattro 3B. i´ve driven it for a month or so. and now i want a bit more power.
It´s currently producing in the range of 330 hp or so.
And i was wondering how much the "stock" engine wound handle.

    Current setup:
Turbo: Garrett T4 Spools arround 4500rpm - 0,8 Bar boost
Header: improved w/ T4 flange and 60mm external aftermarked wastegate
Intercooler: frontmonted, about the size of an RS2´s w/ 2" and 3" piping
Exhaust: 3" w/ race catalyst, 3 mufflers AND a 50mm VUS kit 2ft. after the turbo
    ECU: MTM Chip
    Injectors: Stock w/ FPR

How many horsepower would the engine handle without further modifications (exept of Injectors and re-map)
I guess the con rods is the week point of this engine?

    Have a nice day

4500 rpm ful boost and only 0.8bAr? for only 330HP sounds a pretty bad turbo setup...

put a compression dropping metalic head gasket and ARP head bolts and you can go for 450Hp easily

Have to say that's not the best of setups T4 flange gives you major lag and it['s not need for power levels below 550-600 bhp

You need to replace the headgasket with a metal headgasket from the ABY / ADU as the 3B has a paper one which doesn't like high power.

The intercooler piping is also badly sized, use 2.5" all the way through for the power level your using.

Also how can you be using an MTM chipset with a T4 turbo and stock injectors??

Just shows that Audi built a hell of a strong engine and Motronic has good knock control

        To the OP:
Even current turbo could give you a nice power level. Change the head gasket, and then get bigger injectors, fuel pump and a proper live map.
Do not forget to skim the head and deck the block, if the gasket was composite.

That should produce 400hp using that turbo.

Well i dont know a lot about audi, i brougtht the car like that, iknow the turbo is kinda big for theese hp.
But what about the rods? And is it nessasary to by arp studs for an oem rs MLS gasket?

You don't need ARP bolts. Just use standard bolts, but torque them to correctly to spec.
Do not over tighten, reuse or do any other stupid stuff like that.

The rods will be fine, if the car receives a proper live map...
