What type of engine is that LS exactly ?....what cars can it be found ?
Is it sold as a 5.3 but really a 4.8 ?

IIRC: the Zenvo ST1 uses the LS engine aswell.

And Haydn does not even run turbos yet. I am impressed with the result.
1200hp from a stock internals 4.8L. And they ran out of dyno time.
I would guess that 1400-1500 would be possible. Would have loved to have seen that motor go bang on the dyno.

A 2.2T will make this kind of output with a 3076R on stock bottom end and race gas as well, it will actually make more on race gas.

So the title of the topic is very misleading. Yes, the I5 is at least as strong, if not stronger than that on stock internals.
