mass meter

Hi

Can any1 help?,what other car mass meter will work on the s2 because in South Africa you dont get any detail on these cars currentley i run with a vr6 golf mass meter but the car is overfueling a lot.i dont want to fit a after market management system to the car.

hey ... You have Perfect power there with SMT7 now ... try their piggyback on S2 with it You can translate the map signal to maf ... and get rid of the !@#$ maf

using something like a MAP to MAF converter on a motronic equipped car is a bandaid. mapping this bandaid is another bandaid.

Such a system means that every time you make a small change to the boost profile, you have to remap the MAP to MAF converter to get the output signal right.

A friend of mine has tried using one on a motronic and fuelling/timing at part throttle were crappy no matter what they did with the converter's settings. motronic expects a real MAF as the main load input, if you change it, you throw lots of things out of wack, and the motronic is going to complain about it sooner or later!!!
