AHK and AHC/AKH differences

Hi guys,

does anybody know what's the difference between Audi S6+ AHK engine and Audi S8 engines AHC/AKH?

AHK is rated at 326HP and AHC/AKH are 340HP. I didn't find in ETKA that there are differences between them, so what is the reason for 14HP more power, exhaust or something else?

Aren't the later engines 40V whereas the S6Plus AHK was only 32V?

AHK from S6+ is 32V like AHC/AKH from S8, but AHK has 16HP less, I can't find why.

Must be early S8. 2002 S8 = 40V.

To answer your question, cams are probably different, valves might be larger, intake manifold differences, throttle body differences, exhaust differences, injector differences and software to make it all work 14 hp harder.

Everything you mentioned is the same, I checked in ETKA, only exhaust is not

I bet you didn't check the cam followers.

So exhaust and software.

I just checked all engine components and just pistons and exhaust are different. I suppose that exhaust and software are the main reason for that 14HP

If pistons are different the compression ratio might be different too.

Compresion ratio is also the same, 11.6:1

maybee , for the pollutions issue in some specifik country.. some for norway, some for switserland or like that
