    URS4 alternator fit A6 2.5tdi C4

    Looking for info on the above.

    I have a spare urs4 alternator and my alternator has gave up on my A6 AEL. I have a replacement A6 on its way but need the car back on the road asap.

          According to KATE the AAN has a 90A compared to the 120A in the AEL.

          Short term I can't see that being a problem if it will physically fit, if you have one there give it a try, you've nothing to lose.
