      That's the aux water pump.

I got my last one in quattro corner for £125 approx.

There is one available from gsf that fits a T4 transporter. it's half the price but the electrical connection needs to be modified slightly. part numbers etc are on the forum but a quick search did not reveal them.

Rubber??? The pump has no rubber? The mounts are made of rubber which are not included with the pump. If it's leaking then a split in the rubber isn't the problem!

I fitted this Bosch pump instead recently from Euro Car Parts It's £109-20 then your discount. You can use the SRS forum 25% code by looking on that Forum or ECP often give better discounts if you register on their site.

The rubber mount is part number 035959209E and about £5

Looks like the Auxiliary After-run Coolant Pump. The plastic gets old and brittle and cracks. Here is some info that should help you:

Very likely, if you aren't tracking your car, you wouldn't even get close to needing the after-run pump until next spring. Likewise people with broken "324" control modules (that control the after-run pump) that are draining their battery - just pull it until next spring.

In the meantime, after a good run on the highway, drive like a granny for a bit before shutting off the engine to cool it down.
