I just took a photo of the turbo to exhaust studs for that other post and was out in the garage looking at my old K24-7000. Checked out the compressor end of the shaft and was a bit surprised to see two oddly-shaped jam nuts. Hmm...Special KKK (BorgWarner Turbo Systems ) socket?

Is only 1 nut...those markings are from the balancing process.
Iff you remove the nut...make sure you assamble the compressor wheel in the same position regarding the shaft.
