Hi
My 3B S2 have been hesitating and not been as fast as it should lately
(not the only one on this forum).
I have done the usual pressure testing+soap water splashing, had a small leak in the WGFV and replaced it, along with new O-rings on the injectors. This helped a little bit (some of the O-rings looked bad, should be replaced every now and then I guess), but the car was still hesitating and slow.
Then I measured the ambient pressure sensor as in this thread http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...ressure+sensor
between pins 1 and 2 resistance was ~900 ohm, should have been around 1200 ohm (at sea level). I changed this component 3-4 months ago, so I took the old sensor which I have modified with a 1200 ohm resistor from pin 1 to 2 instead of the actual sensor circuit. And guess what, the car runs way better, close to what it should. The hesitation is more or less gone!
I don't know if this goes for all 3B engines, as I have a "no name" chipset, mapped on another car whith same mods as I have, but it may be worth checking out.
Cheers Leif-Helge
