Just done my coil packs, wasn't as hard as i thought just bought new bits and bobs from audi then found out i didn't need them £50 down the drain . I just connected them to the original cables as close to the plugs as poss and bingo job done no more kangarooing down the road. Just need to refit the homfried ecu take it for a and see if it goes as it should.

Hey Ray, you may know the answer to this. i had an 'accident' with a snapped stud in one of the holes out of the 4 that would hald a coil pack in place int eh coil cover due to not cleaning out the paint before putting it back together after getting some powder coating done. I cant get the snapped stud out. Will 3 allen bolts holding a coil in be sufficient do you think?
