From a cold start on a cold day 15-20 degrees, on very light driving. Probably 10 minutes.

      Thermostat diagnostics

If you think the temperature isn't getting up there (90 C), then you might have a faulty gauge sender (the MFTS) or a thermostat that is stuck open. If you have the automatic climate control you can use Ch.51 to do a diagnostic on the thermostat. This is explained in this post:

It shouldn't take that long, mine took ~5 mins
on the way to work the other day
from -1 deg c outside temp.

I think you need a new thermostat if it's taking 10 mins on
a day that its 20 deg outside.

More? In that post, I suggest that the one on the right is the wrong one. It is for the V6. Suggest that you get the proper UrS/S2/RS2 thermostat shown on the left: 069121113 (87C, applies to most of the 5 cylinder Audi engines).

Car will run cold maybe ~60'c on a cruise if thermostat is stuck.

I think we are all forgetting a major factor in this topic... the climate we live in are different so in the summer the car will warm up alot quicker than in the winter etc. (for us in lovely old blighty anyway)

True that. Up in Scotland getting some nice cold air into the turbo

Also if your deleted the aux radiator see a difference.
