Just bought this from the For Sale section and on receiving it realised it did not have the take off for the N75. The pics show the only practical place to put it and just want to check with people on here that this will work fine. Cannot see a problem myself but then maybe I'm missing something.? Cheers

most people drill/tap it further down towards the end of the casing, check jamo's thread about his avant when he uprated his turbo for info about this.
Yes but there really wasn't enough 'meat' for my liking and the thought of welding a bung to the housing put me off. Will it make any real difference, as its still in the 'snale shell' area?

I can't imagine it will make any difference give or take a couple of MilliBar to the pressure reading. Its not as if you are measuring the boost at the other side of the engine - like the UrQ did, taking the wastegate reading at the exhaust manifold, and that still worked.
Incidentaly I have just fitted an MD357 that I bought straight from the builder. You got yourself a bargain at the price you paid. They did give me the option of with or without boost outlet as I recall. Not had the pleasure of testing it yet and prob wont untill the spring, I'll be interested to know how you get on.
