    K24 7000 to K24 7200

    Hi,
I have my S2 (ABY engine) stock and mapped to run about 280hp. I need to know if I can change the stock exhaust manifold and K24 7000 for a RS2 exhaust manifold and K24 7200 with no changes in another parts or software. Is it possible?

you will need injectors and software to run that properly.

you will definately need a different exhaust manifold if you want the best out of that turbo, stock manifold is not good enough and will cause issue's. Only time i've heard of a stock manifold being used for around 350+ is when jp ported one from what I remember.

but is it necessary a remap just to change for a RS2 exhaust manifold?

              Guslotti,

I'll do the same thing on my ABY with Kiko, from Petrópolis, during the next month.

I'll remap, change the Fuel Injectors, and install a new exhaust (3").
Unfortunately I couldn't find the ABU Exhaust manifold.

Are you changing the Turbo and the Manifold or just the Manifold?

              Best regards,

              Diogo.

I have both of them. I'm thinking yet, but if I don't need a remap, I will install the manifold and K24 7200.

                        Hi,
I'm not looking for a RS2 spec, I just want to know if with my current spec and RS2 exhaust manifold and turbo I can have some improvement with no remap.

                          Hi,
I know that with this mod I can't target a RS2 results. I doubt is with this mod I will have a better result with no remap. My ECU is remap to run about 280HP... with this manifold and turbo I can get a better performance with no engine problem?

It is pointless and a waste of money fitting an RS2 turbo and not remapping, if your current EM is cracked then replacement with an RS2 item would make some sense.
