Evening all, Im near the end of the mini restoration of my 1990 Coupe and cant wait to get it on the road.
I will cut straight to the point so's not to waste anyones time. Both me and my dad have got the end of our "technical/mechanical" knowledge with the car, if anyone has read my thread they will know that we have been experiencing idle issues, that are intermitant to say the least.
Recently the car has been running better and better, but is still not right. Ive posted videos on here but its extremely hard for me and my dad to take all of the advice that is given as we dont really know the 5 cylinder NG that well.
Basically I am putting this out in hope that someone is feeling generous with there time. I am on a farily tight budget so I cant really keep guessing at things to replace/ repair/fiddle with, and because of the tight funds I cannot afford to put the coupe into a garage.
If anyone is fairly local and KNOWS 5 pots well, and fancies earning a few beer tokens then please get in touch, both me and my dad agree that the car has not got a big issue as when it does run well it runs like a dream, but we are both out of ideas. With respect to all that might reply, I cannot afford to take anymore guesses / gambles so like i said above, if you think you can fix it or atleast come and have a look and tell me whats wrong and you know the 5 cylinder NG well, then please give us a shout. I must add that I would never expect something for nothing so If you think you could have a look, then get back to me and we can have a chat.
