Adapter with Restrictor or not ...........

Just wondering if I need to fit an adapter with a 1mm hole or whether the small hole in the turbo oil feed is already there as the restrictor? See pics below.
Also does anyone know where I can get a M11 to 6mm pipe adpter similar to bottom pic please. Thanks.

The adapter form a VNT DIESLE trubocharger has a 4mm diameter hole. I think it should work because you have that restrictor of 1mm .

The hole in the centre of the top pic is actually about 1.8mm and heard somewhere that it's normal to have a 0.8 to 1mm restrictor but thought maybe this MD357 has come with appropriate oil infeed hole size from the factory

Speak to Turbo Dynamics before using it. You wouldn't want to wreck a new turbo!

          Hi David

Mine came with the restrictor fitted, which from memory looks very similar to yours. The male to male adapter came from Turbo Dynamics and I got the aero quip pipe and fittings from Demon Tweaks...

          Hope it helps...

          Darren.

Is it a ball bearing CHRA? I seem to remember that the restrictor on my Garrett BB turbo is 0.35mm.
