Fusebox seal available ? Part no. ?

Anyone know if it's available or a suitable replacement?

Pics in the stealers don't have it illustrated as even having a seal.

    Thanks in advance.

    Lid seal or main box?

The lid seems to come with the seal 8A0941801. S/H lid with seal would be easy to get.

Main Box shows not seal but Sikaflex etc would work fine here.

Maybe if you make a thread titled spare dum dum, people will have some left over.

I use that non hardening window sealant that annoys the hell out of you because it gets everywhere, but what I do is put a bead down and then place a really thin plastic sheet over it so it doesn't actually make contact with the other mating surface and makes for an easy non messy removal if need be, but is thin enough to allow the bead to spread and form a good seal. I noticed some fittings such as the trim pieces bolted to the side of the car are done this way by Audi and I just copied that idea when putting them back on.

The plastic sheet I used was flimsy cheap 2 dollar plastic drop sheet stuff you can get from hardware stores, etc. HTH

For the rear lights I used tiger sealant as recommended by Pete. Done the job.
