Does the gt3076r exhaust housing fit the gtx3071r ?

Cr turbo says they do and Owen say they don't .

The turbine housing does as they are the same but the comp wheel is a different size so will not fit the comp housing without machining it out.

It's just the exhaust housing I need to change as my gtx is 4 bolt flange for the exhaust and the 3076 is vband and my exhaust is vband .

I did yes mate he is right and Owen are just after a sale as confirmed buy Johnybravo as well they are the same exhaust housing .

GT3076r ex. housing can't fit gtx3071r. gtx3071r is using tubine wheel from standard 3071r so it's smaller than gt/gtx3076r tubine wheel. I think you can mount the housing but the there will be quite of space between the wheel and housing walls - in this case you will not be using the full potential of the turbine wheel.

no your wrong, they both use a 60 mm turbine wheel.

In fact all three, the GT3071, GT3076 and GTX3071 all use the same turbine housing.

As today's activelys found out the gt3076 exhaust housing does not fit the gtx as the gtx has a bigger exhaust wheel .

A proper gtx 3071 has a 60mm turbine, as does a proper gt 3076. Both the same trim, just compressor side is different.

If it didn't fit, it wasn't a true 30r....
