Aux rad disconnect

As above what would the advantage be if i disconnect the aux rad ?

One less expensive part to replace, car is loads easier to work on, bit of weight lost off the front, that's about it I think

theres no real benefit to having it in IMO.

remember to plug the rad and get the 7a hose.

Ditched mine 7 years ago and never had an issue on track even in 30deg ambient temp

ditch it! it will never get that hot over hear to warrant having one, so much better in terms of access around the engine etc, ditched mine on all the s2's ive owned

It's the 10v non-ac rad hose you need, 7As also use the aux rad

Or just put in a bung.... Several people have done that too so you dont need to change the hose over.

Or purchase an s2 which already had aux rad delete and both pipes connected with some plumbers copper

So that was out and some rusty bungs in. Top quality with the S2 engraving

When I got my 7a 90 the aux rad was missing... so I got hold of a good one & fitted it! Car runs a little cooler, but I like it being as per original & the delete 'bodge' wasn't up to much anyway.
