I did this last July and thought that I had posted it here. But I couldn't find it on an advanced search. Sorry for not posting it earlier.
"I started this as an exercise to show the common parts and the different parts in the 3B and AAN engines. It then expanded to include the RR (a 3B in the last of the Urqs (1990-91) in Europe), the ABY (the latter S2 engine derived from the AAN) and the ADU (the RS2 engine derived from the ABY) Unfortunately, my source of part numbers reflects current conditions, not the past. For example, now the replacement head for a 3B head would now be an AAN head. Back in the day, the 3B head was different (no G40 cam sensor mounting boss behind the exhaust cam sprocket). Likewise, in the past, the 3B rods were different (80 grams heavier) than the AAN rods, etc. Nevertheless, since I did the work, I thought I would post it here for "fun"."
