    New Engine Break-in quandry

    Hello Gents

I've been reading up on MotoMan's "How To Break In Your Engine For More Power & Less Wear !" and would like some of your actual and first-hand observations if you used this method....

    90q 20v track car
    7AT to S2 spec
    - built bottom end
    - built head

    Here's my quandry:
Getting close to engine reassembly and 1st start-up. I've spent a lot of money on this part of the build and would like to follow the specific steps myself because I am **** like that. Now if 034 has to do the tuning on the dyno, which is what I presume, how do I do the break in steps before 034 does tuning if it will be running 'crappy' due to ecu in stock mapping??

    Thanks

Also you realy need to put a cheap oil in it so all things bed in nicely. I no it sound stupid but mineral oil will let piston rings ect bed in quickly. You only need to run the motor in for say 500 miles. If you put a good oil in your engine before its run in your rings will not bed in and the engine may glaze the bore which will make it smoke
