Hello all. New to the forum and need some help I.D.ing mods to 1991 200q 3B ecu.I just purchased 3B motor, trans, ecu and harness to install in my early suspension Urq. The ecu is said to be Lehmann chip modified, not documented. The fueling chip is labled LUR/LTP2. The timing chip is LUR/EZHD with a 2.5 kg MAF. Not sure of WG spring. I'm hoping someone on here may be familiar with that coding and maybe know the specs, HP, torque for this chipset. Thanks

The 3B ECU came with a 2 Bar Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor so the 250 kPa MAP (not "2.5 kg MAF") your 3B ECU has is an upgrade that allows higher boost pressures, e.g. up to about 21 psi (max). More MAP sensor info here: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/20417.phtmlHello all. With the 250 kPa (2.5 Bar) MAP sensor those chips are likely going to give you around 260 hp, provided you change the injectors to AAN injectors. More injector info here: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/20441.phtml
Here is a photo of Stage 1+ Lehmann chips (and the needed 3.0 Bar (300 kPa) MAP sensor) that yields about 280 hp on an AAN with stock AAN injectors:

To go above those levels you need a bigger turbo, i.e. an RS2 K24-7200, instead of the 3B (and AAN) K24-7000 and larger injectors AND different software yet again. Here is some K24-7000 and -7200 info: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/211339.phtml.
Good luck.RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan

Thank you for your response. Am I correct in thinking from your answer that the chipset codes I have for the 3B correspond to the AAN ones shown in the picture? I have also been told that the Lehmann power delivery is more linear as opposed to the on/off of other tuners. Is that more desirable for a street application or is that just seat of the pants preference? Can I visually determine which injectors I have in there now by color or some other means? They're pretty dirty and I haven't had a chance to really dig into any of the components yet.Comment

I have photos of many varieties of aftermarket AAN chips and none of them are the ones that you have in your 3B ECU. That said based on the lettering, they are likely to be Lehmann just developed for the 3B. Remember the 3B has a distributor where as the AAN has five individually ECU-controlled coils.... I have driven a Lehmann Stage 1 (still with the stock AAN 250 kPa MAP sensor) equipped 92 spec UrS4 with AAN and I found it to be very linear. I am currently running MRC (Mihnea Cotet's) Stage 3 RS2 chips which I find to be linear and much easier to drive in the twisty bits. Previously I ran some Stage 3 MTM clone (tweeked clone) chips and they were very much ON/off and therefore difficult to modulate when driving on twisty roads. Personally I prefer the linear chip sets.
Injectors - some how you'll have to get a view of the part number on the injector:
