So, according prj, the RS2 does reach 1.4 and then taper to 0.9. My questions are : 1/. will I see this with my gauge ( going to 1.4 for a short while and then drop to 0.9 ), and 2/. how soon will it drop to 0.9 ? a few seconds, or until rpm goes up to xxxx ? Pardon me for repeating the questions as I cannot come to a certain conclusion from all these info presented.

Regardless, you might want to sort out the boost leak and then consider chipping your RS2 ECU with a good aftermarket chip set. I run a chipped ECU (MRC Stage 3) with a 3.0 Bar MAP and RS2 turbo, RS2 exhaust manifold, RS2 exhaust cam, RS2 injectors and RS2 MAF, and regularly get 27 psi (1.86 Bar) relative boost. This equates to about 360 crank HP (289 wheel HP).
Where can i get a citation for this?

              UrS6:

              Code:
              RPM: OB: Std:
              1800 1.04 1.04
              2000 1.01 1.01
              2200 0.99 0.99

              3500 1.03 0.90
              4000 1.03 0.80
              4500 1.07 0.74
              5000 1.07 0.72
              5500 0.97 0.72
              6000 0.86 0.65
              6500 0.80 0.57
              7000 0.67 0.51
There is temperature compensation on top of that - a little bit more when hot, a little bit less when cold.

I recently replace all my hoses and got rid of all leaks. Peak boost recorded 1.6-1.7 on the road, though not pushing hard enough. It feels like it could get up another 0.1

Consider getting it chipped by PRJ, but replace all of the boost hoses with new or better still black coloured silicone hoses, and the vacuum hoses and their connectors before asking PRJ to chip it, and you should be an even happier RS2 owner.
