Sounds like a *******isation of the king of DVs

Post up a picture, what is the part number? 710N refers to the part number ending. There's a P and R AFAIK.
If you want a really nice DV then search for APR R1, otherwise, a Forge is a perfectly acceptable one... turbosmart... etc. I run the smaller 007 model and have done for over 5 years with no isses.Cheers'en, AndyC

Here are pics Andy applogise for upside down pics I was informed on here that there were issues with the forge items and was advised to go for 710N.Comment

When Kayser company bought Bosch?

iff is indeed oem pn....i wonder were Audi quality has gone....Comment
-
Yeah, I would buy the Bosch item.
I don't know how well the "Kayser" ones work. Never even seen one until now on the picture.Comment

Oh, also, I asked around, and if you want the bosch item, you need to order the 710P.
The 710P's are still made by Bosch. But as far as I know the Bosch 710N item is still better than the 710P.Comment

I was just kidding...i dont know either how these are working...but, when i bought mine 710N i receive'd the bosch item. But now...i dont know...i ordered RS2 crank bearings and i receive the rods all together into a bag..scratched like hell and the mains 4 of them with 1 pn and the other 2 with diferent pn.
I think Audi is not interested anymore in quality parts for our old cars.

I quoted that pt no and Tps couldn't find it so i quoted the one on my sons dv on his B5 S4 starting with 06A 145 710N and i received the one in the pic :scratch. These valves must be popular otherwise when Bosch went under Audi would have had some old stock.
Maybe these are of Bosch quality. I paid £32.00 including vat for it when you consider i paid £18.18 for 2 headlight water jets it.s a steal

I bought a 034 145 710 N last week from a local Audi dealer here in Holland and I got the same Kayser valve. I've installed it and now I suspect its leaking:
I know that if you press the valve open from the lower port and you then block the small vacuum line port on top, that it should stay open, but:
If I provide 0,5 bar (7,25 psi) on the left port the air escaped to the lower port. Should I test it with the same pressure on the small top port as on the left port, or should this leaking not occur at all untill a vacuum is applied to the top port?Attached Files5 cilinder addict:

That because its a Bosch part number not a VAG one mate, go to a Bosch dealer to get one.I quoted that pt no and Tps couldn't find it so i quoted the one on my sons dv on his B5 S4 starting with 06A 145 710N and i received the one in the pic :scratch. OK I found out today that Bosch have discontinued the 0 280 142 114 (710N) valve - tried to order from my two Bosch dealers and they are NLA from Bosch.
I will have to use one of these Kayser versions and see how I get on
