Vacuum/boost, evaporative emissions, WGFV and BPV hoses

I am putting together a comprehensive 3B, ABY and ADU boost leak testing post and needed to include a diagram showing the vacuum/boost, evaporative emissions, WGFV and BPV hoses. I have done this (boost leak post) for the AAN (out under review on my home forum) ( http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/229230.phtml ) and wanted to do the same for the 3B, ABY and ADU. I need you to comment on the attached diagram and also tell me where the By-pass valve (BPV) connects to the turbo discharge hose (photos would be handy) on the 3B, ABY and ADU (don't have one handy to look at).

I *think* I might have figured it out. I *finally* see a "nipple" on the Item 12 turbo to intercooler hose in the bottom middle of this diagram. Confirmation and a photo would be welcomed.

Could someone please confirm that the 3B/ABY/ADU BPV connects into the Item 12 hose above before I move on with creating the rest of the boost testing post? Thanks in advance.

Yes, DV connects to the nipple on item 12. There is also the IM front nipple to DV nipple connection that runs behind the cambelt cover (the IM nipple is not shown).

        The rest looks correct

Maybe add in an idle circuit colo(u)r to encompass the ISV?

There is also the N75 and WG circuit, which isn't covered there and the separate breather section (which I'm fairly certain you have covered elsewhere).

          Yes...the bypass valve connects there.
          Hope this helps!

Yep, can just see it branch off in this photo on the bottom left.

Not sure why on earth it is called a nipple, as it is far from a nipple IMO,
              see for yourself .

Thanks very much. I will likely use one of those photos in the post. Especially the one that I can read the PN from 034145746AB (3B, ABY is 746AT).

Looks like a "nipple" designed by Escher.

Thanks Rusty. Yes a coloUr (Canadian English = same as UK on that issue) for the ISV circuit could help. The N75 and WG circuit and the PCV breather circuit are covered on other diagrams that will be included.

Thanks. I can see what you mean. I presume that is a ABY minus its sump (ouch! Spun rod bearing??)

ABY with lots of mods (you can see the k26/27 hybrid turbo, catch-tank return to the MAF hose, wagner exhaust manifold, adjustable cam wheel, reverse inlet manifold and inlet pipe heading to the IC, also the oil-return to the sump from the catch-tank system).

It was a full rebuild with the addition of manifolds and the catch-tank system and turbo upgrade, which is why it looks so shiny, before the 2nd full rebuild shortly after

Thanks. What I was seeing was "AK". = No go. Took me a moment to find anything. "AA"? Nada. "AB" = hit (3B and it showed "AT" = ABY on the same listing)
