Yup. And maybe my puff on startup.

Next step is to check the ARPs and make sure they're still torqued up properly. Other than that, I'll just have to live with it until it gets worse...

I also have some new lifters to go in but as the engine is quiet normally (one or two stick after a proper thrash), I doubt that this will make any difference to anything now...

Did I mention "..." ...

Hot engine?
Mine...at 360k km had 160, 160, 150, 160, 150 psi.
That 8.5 bar dosint look too good.

have some oil in,, se if its the ringland or the walve.... komp will raise big numbers.. the piston or rings are gone,, will raise low mumbers.. the walves

I'll just have to put up with it for now and work out the best way forwards. Ideally, I'll just bolt in a lower mileage engine for now and get mine rebuilt at a later date

I am sure it is annoying and you will want to eventually solve the issue (apparently a ring on no. 4) but it is within the factory limits:

This was cold as well, so I should do the same hot and test it.

Good to know it's within spec though.

Warm/hot should hopefully make things better.

Not all better, like warm cocoa and biscuits, but better.

It only puffs oil from cold, so that may well be the case for now. I'll have a look after a drive tomorrow or next weekend.
