K24-7400 boost profile on stock I5

Had a chance to tune this turbo finally.
Bought one off of Ruffiano years ago, never got around to fitting it.
So it collected dust in my cellar, but finally found it's way onto a I5.

Full boost is at 2600-2700 rpm. Basically it spools better than stock.
    The boost profile is:
1.7 bar from 2500 to 5500 rpm, after which it tapers off to 1.3 bar at redline.
The turbo can not do more than 1.7 bar at 5500 rpm and then 1.3 bar at 7000 rpm (98% N75 duty cycle with 1.9 bar spring) and IAT's start to go up.

So it is not as strong as a RS2 turbo - that can do 1.45-1.5 bar at 7000 rpm, but it also has no lag at all. Instant 1.7 bar all the time with a 3000 rpm power band.
It makes about 540nm and 350 bhp.

Out of interest, what is an RS2 turbo actually capable of bhp/nm wise? Always thought that realisticly an RS2 turbo could make maybe 360bhp/around 500nm?

Good to know you had time to map it.My client will be happy to know that.In aprox 1 month or so i will get his engine ready and will need soft. Will pm.
He will be sad knowing that it will be less strong compared to 7200.Or i will keep his setup for my rally project b2 and fit him a holset/k26 setup of yours.Do you still can provide that?
What about smaller shaft diam. compared to 7200?Will it hold?

About 375/590, but not on stock (RS2) injectors.

the RS2 turbo can do more ~380-390 but not with RS2 injectors as they do not flow enough.

Whether the turbo survives long term or not, time will tell, but it's a KKK
              For rest, yes PM.

Glad you finally put it to use! I honestly LOVED that turbo, it was an awesome daily driver car. It certainly isn't a dyno queen, but it had it always had power when you put your foot down, didn't matter what rpm, it was always ready. the torque on that thing was absolutely awesome, put down over 100 ALL WHEEL tq on the same dyno and same day as 3 other b7 rs4s

It's possible to map the car to be more peaky than this - it will hit 2 bar, but for a very short time.
So I opted to have a flatter torque curve at the expense of some peak torque.
