Dmitri do you have any idea where to buy these turbos? I'm only to locate one for sale on ebay.com and it's quite expensive , 975 USD refurbished.Comment

If you just have a K24-7000, I can take the Stage 1 I have for this, and just adjust injector size and latency.
It won't make any extra power over a standard Stage 1 car, but it won't run pig rich either.
EDIT:
Misread it. For K24-7400, no definitely no generic chip on a 3B.
Need to live tune it for it to be any good. But if you already have the turbo and the car, I'm coming to the UK anyway, and I don't mind mapping it up.Comment

I understand. I have the turbo, car and injectors all the in the garage, just need software. (and to put the car back on the road) Hopefully the car will be on the road at some point when you are in the UK.Current-2004 Impreza PPP wagon

That's my car
Gotta love how the turbo suits the engine and moves this big old barge, probably most optimal for daily winter car. I'll do my best to get few drag sessions and 1 mile challenge done this summer.
Cheers Dmitri, see you again in a month or so

I really like the k24-7400 as an allrounder. I've mapped two cars running it and I do share the experiences about quick spool. I'd say it can provide some 40-50hp more that stock k24 and around 30hp less than RS2 turbo.
It's pretty much perfect for winter fun in conditions where laggier big turbos are far from perfect.
Just remember when you talk about hp figures: Every rolling road gives different results. They can not be compared. Period. RR is a brilliant tool for tuning a car and seeing the affect of mapping changes but not for REAL hp numbers.
My RS2 mappings on a local RR has typically shown 350-360hp depending on cams (RS2 or AAN/ABY/3B) and 380hp (and 600Nm) in a RS2 running E85 fuel. The same cars give different numbers on a different RR. They certainly will. So the numbers can't be compared to other ones mentioned here.
Also US wheel horses seem to follow European crank horses so there's something strange going on too
