    Help timing issues

I have an a4 1.9tdi ahu engine. Bought with a misfire due to a heater plug breaking and attacking valves and piston, so i fitted a new engine. last month after 6000 miles 2 hydraulic tappets obliterated them selves had the head rebuilt all new hydraulic tappets and valves i had 1 tappet seize in the head causing the piston to slap off the valve after 2 days of running even grumpier face. Now i am running again but smoking is there any audi heads in the co durham area who would help, have a look or even ensure my timing is perfect. Please.
    Thank you.

For a perfect timing you need to check and adjust it using an VAS or at least a VAG COM /VCDS. You should have a hot engine ( coolant at 90 deg ) for a good job.

Ahu is not a PD engine. AJM is a PD engine.
Is good that you fixed your car.
