RS2 newbie seeks help on spark plug removal

Hi guys, I've had my 1994 RS2, 134000 miles since Saturday, I want to change the sparks. Is there an easy way to get them out? By the looks of it I have to remove the throttle damper bracket !!!

Either weld the likes of an alloy key to it. Then replace with new bolts. Tried an oversized torx and hammering it and slowly turning the bolt?? They are torxed that higher. Saves the angle grinder

Be careful not to over tighten the plugs - look the proper torque up.

Also be careful not to damage the rubber coilpack boots when lifting out the cover, as splitting them will cause arc problems.

Here is a link to a Spark Plug Changing info post that I did for noobs with the AAN engine (in the C4 sedans and avants). It will be similar for you once you get the throttle body out of the equation.

That spark plug DIY was actually linked out of an ignition coil info post that is just one of the hotlinks in the engine bay device map linked below. While the map is based on the AAN engine, it applies equally well to the ADU in your RS2 (and the ABYs in the S2s). I suggest that you might want to a) book mark it and b) have fun exploring it by clicking on the labels (hotlinks to info):
