    Piggyback ECU on S2/S4

    Hi all.

    Good idea, Bad idea?

    Will it work?
    Wont it work?
    Or wont it work well?

I see Perfect Power and Dastek Unichip make piggy back ecu's for these cars.

What are the pro's and cons?
Im looking to increase power by about 200hp. I have the T3/T4 Turbo hi flow manifold. 600cc injectors and bigger cooler.

Just need some way of controlling the timing and the fueling?

    Please advise. Tx

    No, forget it, go standalone.

So buy VEMS or other standalone...
Piggyback won't work on this, you will hit a lot of problems.

There is a pretty big difference between proper tune and "it somehow works"

I think that the unichip is doing a great work, but the difference is on the tuner.

Anyway, I know that standalone is better, but here in Brazil is difficult to find someone with a good knowledge on that.

That's why i'm using the piggyback.

Leaving on Europe I would go on Standalone, for sure.
