Can you isolate which cylinder is missing? If there is lumpiness at idle, you could pull the injector electrical connections one at a time and find the cylinder that doesn't make the idle worse when you pull the connector. Once you find that, remove that coil pack and swap it with another coil pack, e.g. 2 to 3 and 3 to 2. Now, retest the idle issue by pulling the injector connectors, one at a time. If the issue moves from say, 2 to 3, (2 is good now but 3 is bad), then your issue is the coil pack sitting in 3 now (the numbers are just examples). IF the problem stays on 2, then there is an issue with the wiring harness, the no. 2 plug, OR....the No. 2 injector. (We can't rule out the injectors as being a source of the lumpiness)

[QUOTE=UrS4boy;717998]Did you put in new plugs? Gap? Are they tight?

Injector connections? Any broken wires on the injector harness (at the injector)?QUOTE]

The spark plugs are new. But I don't know if they are tight. Pasbogdan is "tuning" my car, I am located in another city.
Also I cannot tell you about the injector connection, I will wait to see what Pasbogdan will say.

I am sure many of us usually do not find problems to i5 with vag com.
        Not this time...
Car was last started a few days ago after finishing custom intake(filter, maf to turbo with all conections n75 etc)

History, yesterday after installing 1.8 coil pack, took half day:
Checked all connections to maf, grounds, tps injectors
        Replaced maf(known good)
        Boost leak test
Replaced tps(again from engine that was running perfectly when took from the car)
Replaced isv(THE SAME,was ok on the engine that it was mounted)
Put back the OE coil pack.
        NOTHING!!

        Today all day:
Took ecu off the car and put eproms in other ecu
Measured all wiring from ecu to tps, maf, isv, injectors
Measured power and grounds at ecu
Tested tps(resistance test and 5v test)
Relocated maf to a long distance from compressor.
        Nothing!!!!

In the evening i went and bought another vag com(i had 2 broken cables)
Fault codes 1milion.Clear all, start the car one was there.Something about idle regulation.
Got into output test procedure and isv was clicking. But not as noisy as i remembered it should do.Took the cars isv that i replaced yesterday and it did the same, clicking but not so noisy.I went to my daily car got off the isv and voila...it was clicking noisy, and not for short period.
        SOLVED
So:when you think it is a simple thing vag com will not solve it.When you know for sure you will have to dig,it will be something simple.
        Life...

So bottom line, the car had a bad idle, so the idle valve was broken...
          Unbelievable...

The fluctuations were also present at ay region of throttle.Exactly as a maf issue.Do you think i was born yesterday?Sometimes is better to know just the basic stuff. Not to dream all kind of wiring problems etc
Try on any car to block open or even take off the isv and on steady throttle it will work resonable.

Usually the first thing we say is "ISV!!" and then I post the link below. I wonder why that didn't happen this time.

              Oh, well....problem solved.
