Is the 7a crank strong enough for high power output, or should i use another crank

I am running a 7A crank in my ABY engine. it is not the same as a ABY crank. the crank puley sits about 3mm back so rubs on the lower cam belt cover. i just machine up a space and put it behind. i have been running 500+ bhp for 2 years on it and been fine.
Am going up to around 650/700 mark this year.

aby, have a different front cover, and belttensioner; correct??, but 7a cranc does fit any block in the 5pot old serie... ( notsure about the new chain driven 5pot verson, in golf and tt)
