Piston rings for ABY S2
Iv seen theres a few threads on here about KS and JE rings and that the KS are more suited to day to day use but does anyone know anywhere I might get either within the north wales area and within the next few days? and has anyone a guide to changing these, any other part numbers needed along the way or anything else that may be useful? Thanks.

Having looked through the forums and vosa im not convinced the person doing the mot was right in this one. It failed emissions by a long way so he hypothesised the rings, but looking at the estimated build date on the mot failure notice of 31/12/95 and that he did a idle and high idle test suggests he was measuring the cars emissions against the newer levels that it would never have passed so will check this with him in the morning before such a sizable job.
Also on this, it does get a brief splutter of blue smoke when revved high in neutral and use a liter of oil per 900 mile driven reasonably heavily. Do these sound normal?Comment
