Max boost from k24 7000?

I have trouble with max boost...

Only 1.4 on 4gear than down to 1.2 near redline

Same figures with blocked wgfv tube.

My setup is:
3bar map sms chip
Supersprint without cats
All other stock

What is a maximum for k24 7000? (not by the dashboard lcd)

And another question is, how to check leaks after a throttle body?
Injector seats especially

That's normal I think..max safely on a k24-7000 is 1.5ish and it is normal that it tapers down to 1.2/1.1 to redline.

Don't think a 3 bar mps is required when using stock setup either.

I run 1.5bar on my AEL ( diesel) with k24 7000. No problems for 6 months.

Use Option one in this boost leak testing post. Use a spray bottle with soapy water and look for bubbles around the injector seats. Might need new seals and/or seats if that is a leak location.

Why do you think changing the WG cap will make any difference?

Because the old one was tightened up.

Now 1.3 max than down to 1 bar...

If you remove the small cap in the centre of the WG cap, you can adjust the WG spring seat down (or up).
