Hay everyone I have a 2.2 coupe and was wondering what's the most no of horses you can get out of it ? What's these guys running that are getting four five hundred ponies ? Major advice needed ....

all depends how deep your pockets are.
tbh pound for pound a s2 engine 20vt conversion can't be beaten as you can pick them up for around 1k, remapped is around 300bhp. -
Cheers for that so best bet is not to waste money on old engine and buy 20v turbo does it have the same beautiful sound also would the wiring loom etc need to be changed and I am going to need new wishbone soon on the rear does things like that need to be higher spec ?Comment

they can sound good, just depends whats done.
brakes and suspension should be upgraded as 10v stuff won't stop that sort of power. Even the 20v g-60's dont really handle that power so most go porsche upgradeComment

depends how attached you are to the car, most would say in the long run easier to save your money and get an s2.
If you like the car then:
s2 engine/loom/ecu - 1k ish
s2 shocks - 100ish
then get the tt setup that dest had on his car, its better than stock and stops the car well.Comment
