    Still Stumped

Right having found a boost leak a couple of weeks ago on the I/c i bought a new O ring and at the same time decided to change all the boost hoses to the silicone ones i bought from the group buy. so i thought to fit the homefry ecu i have and straight away had the same probs as before. So i went back to the standard ecu and the same problem. I have now done another boost leak test and have found no leaks present done a vag com test and it's coming up max boost pressure exeeded.

    So Far i have changed

    All coil packs

    All Boost hoses

    New N710 valve

Cleaned the Maff and ISV valve with carb cleane

Is there anything else anyone can suggest i can try.

      Blocked breather pipe?

Found this thread maybe it can help:

Maybe plugs, an inspection of them can't do any harm

Or your MAF has kicked the bucket

G28 isn't actually a fault, it shows when the engine isn't running.

It could be your lambda sensor is or bad spark plugs

Yes done a leak test again yestaday. All i could here was a gurgling sound in the I/c don't know what that was. I am going to test the maff today with vagcom see if that will show up anything.

I was getting max boost exceeded as there was a leak into the lower waste gate chamber. I found it by chance but you can take off that hose and blow down it to listen for leaks around there.

Sometimes you cant hear a leak mate, you need to pressurise it with a tyre inflator or something with a gauge and then watch the gauge for leakdown
There are also things like the injector seats etc that are easily missed if you have just done the pipework.

You can spray down the pipework with soapy water to help see leaks as bubbles. Is the intake holding pressure whe you test it?
