How to test pressure regulating valve?

Yesterday I tried to check all hoses and find a boost leak.
    Changed two hoses.
Then tried to make a boost leak test one more time.
And then I heard noise coming from pressure regulating valve. Removed, cleanedi it, but I still hear that noise. It comes from a small hole. It is ok?
Maybe it's possible to check this valve?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik at this pressure regulating valve there shouldn't be any positive pressure at all since it's part of the crank case ventilation system. There should be a one way way valve between this part and your air intake that blocks the airflow if your engine is making boost. And you need to plug the crankcase ventilation system's connection at the air intake hose before the turbo when pressure testing.

I think you have a leak in the diaphragm of the pressure regulating valve. I think that the tiny hole is there to allow air in and out of the upper diaphragm chamber. However, under a boost test no air should be leaking out of that hole.

Mine leaked in the boost test from the same place you mentioned.

The diaphragm must be split inside.

I got a new one from dealers around £18 and no leaks!
