Shells, mains and rings...

What do people use? Where is best to buy them?

KS? Glyco (sp.)?

I found this site yesterday, they have the KS ring sets, mains and BE shells and the prices look pretty good to me

You want the more expensive ring sets

EDIT: IIRC they are the tapered ones with the moly inlay and chrome faces - much more hard wearing

I got the cheaper KS rings without knowing there were options. They have lasted well so far at 400+ hp and were properly abused with RS2 spec.

I have Glyco sputter big ends and mains. KS or Glyco will do the job for you.

Aelred recommend glyco so that's what I went for

Jp recommendations ks. Both are good I think as long as the thrust bearings are separate

I went with Glyco after hearing positive results, bought off Aelred as well.
