Igor : It happens I told you, that I'm like magnet for disasters :-) Today I'll use better endoscope and next week I'll take head off, so I see what's damaged. Then I will use you experience to repair it in short time :-)

I'm really interested in this tread, my engine built is nearly finished and I have used OEM wheel and tightened it using vag tool two days ago. I'm running on RS2 upgraded output and don't want to suffer for exactly same issue.
      What shall I do?

it all depends on pulley condition before you refitted it.

I refitted the same I took off when I did mine. I then ran a fair bit more than rs power and had no issues.

a good pulley will do big output the same as small output

I spend to much time and money on that engine. I look for every piece , every whole, bolt, gaskets, everithing must be and it was perfect when I collect that engine together.
every bolt which I have in my hand was tightened by specific Nm .

I thing that only precaution of this kind of failure is:

          tnx to Thuppu for link.
