Been a bit out of date with these but it looks like snow performance can also be mapped with fuel injection duty cycle. So lots of them are copying each other I guess.

    Its too complicated for me!

My only issue is would I with 30% method in my mix would loose power if I were to inject as much water as needed to keep steady or reduce IAT alone? Somehow I get the feeling that the mixture will get fairly rich in those circomstances. What is your experience Dmitri?

For those looking to get into w/m but can't spring for the Aquamist - I'd consider the Snow kit… I've got a Devil's Own kit and it's fine BUT the Sureflo pumps they use fail. I replaced mine with an Aquatec (used by Aquamist & Snow) and it's all good… until an Aquamist is doable

BTW… why is the HSF3 a better buy than the HSF4? I like the idea of saving money - just curious on why. The HSF4 is listed for direct injection so the mapping used is probably overkill for non DI?

The HFS-4 is for direct injection the HFS-3 is for port injection.

Link please? AFAIK this is incorrect information.

Before I started mapping my RS4 for the meth, I ran 1100cc/min of straight water and it was slightly faster.
Considering my total injector flow is around 3500cc/min on the engine, I think the water does not hurt, even in gratuitous amounts.

I'm currently on the mobile. If you go to snow performance website they talk about fuel injection mapping with their stage 3 kit

Indeed, the PDF manual does say this.
              I stand corrected.

              However, price wise:
              Snow Performance Stage 3 - $803.00
              Safe Injection - $181.40

This is a total of $984.40, if you want to ship this to EU, add 20% VAT on top of that + shipping charges, you're eventually looking at 770 GBP + shipping.

Aquamist HFS-3 you can buy directly from UK (it's an UK company), at 480GBP + VAT, so about 580 + shipping, which should be less than shipping from the USA.

                  linky please Vas!!

I am still un-clear if its worth getting a WMI mapped or just run as a cooling system...

what are the real world differences?....

On mine I think I need to upgrade to a 625ml/min injector for one as during high boost my temps. Still rise

                    Its under snow performance.eu

Snow performance is 800 EUR in EU, so that's the same as tax added on top, as the dollars ain't worth that much
My partner company in Estonia is also a Snowperformance dealer. Haven't tuned a Stage 3 kit yet, but the Stage 2 kit it was impossible to not have a dip in AFR both on VEMS and on MS3, as it comes in based on boost - even if it's in two stages.
Still works well though, but I dread if anything happens to it, as those cars engines will be toast with no knock control measures in place - only thing thats done is enrich based on iat.

Real world benefits of running lots of meth properly with mapping for it are quite big.
Pretty much the same as running race fuel all the time.

Yes, depends how knock limited you are - but up to 20% is possible.

Should one with a standalone ECU opt for the aquamist injection controller module or directly map their injection solenoid using the standalone ECU, if it supports a second injection map and the necessary output, which seams as the more economical option?
