I built 3" from turbo to a 100cell racecat under the car, after cat I went for 2,5" with one silencer in the rear.
No backpressure and still quite comfortable sound even on long trips.

i was just going to try and buy a cheapish one, saves me the hastle then,

an Avant S2 one should also work, but lengthened in the middle
