Looks like a pattern part. Im considering getting one for the golf if cleaning doesnt help. What is wrong with your current one?

Don't know if there is anything wrong with it i have cleaned it but the symptoms the car is producing are simular to the ones my sons S4 was having and his was the maf. He changed it and it was ok after that. And since the maf is 18yrs old i thought maybe he could be right as things start to go wrong after 100,000 miles electrical speaking iv just changed all the coil packs.

            if its garuanteed buy it,

mate just bought one for his TD5 disco,
fitted it and within a short drive the new unit was ****ed.

they replace the hot wire with a resistor and it burns out!

easy cheat thats easy to spot with reman MAFS, hope this helps

              That's chinese.

I wouldn't do it. Even if it works chances are the air-fuel mixture will be way out.

I'm getting ****ed off with these cheap MAFs.

                It's always the same story.
A friend pops round because their car isn't running right, and need some VCDS help. I diagnose a bad MAF, and send them off to get a new one.
They come back saying the car still isn't running right, despite the new MAF. I test the car again, and the MAF is bad. It turns out they have got some cheap MAF.
I send them off to get a Bosch MAF. The car is fixed.

I have a spare working MAF you can try if you like. Sure it's not the connector?
