    Never seen 25psi boost before!

    Hi All,
Took the S2 to West Wales for the weekend (Never seen so many hot avants before- 2 RS4's and 2 S4's within 2 miles of St Davids), and on the way home she was boosting regularly to 24/25 psi, (never seen more than 19psi before) and really flying!
During the warm(ish) weather in the last few weeks, for the first mile or so from cold at low revs, she is Really flat. Feels like it's far too rich, until the revs pick up a bit, (2000 or so) then ok, until the next gear change.
My question is- Because of the fact that she has boosted higher than ever before in this hot weather, coupled with the cold temp/low revs issue- do you think I have a temp sensor problem??
I removed the airflow meter recently, and gave it a good spraying with carb choke cleaner (with the 2 engine fuses removed) so I'm reasonably confident it's clean.
    Homefried ABY with 200k miles.

    Any suggestions???

I had'nt even thought of water temperature- I was looking more towards air intake, but this makes far more sense
      I'll check it out tomorrow.

Good one Rusty because if he still gets 25 psi (or at least not 6 psi (0.4 Bar)) then there is a wastegate issue, e.g. hose from the WGFV is off or there is a tear in the diaphragm.

              Cheers Both,
As soon as I got home from work I went straight to the Sender under the water manifold.First thing I noticed was that the multi-plug had begun to disintegrate, and appeared that one of the pins appeared disconnected. I've been until now trying (Temporarily) to re-make the loom to the sender with Chocolate blocks and 1/4 Lucar connectors- not an easy job with only 3" of cable to play with!
I'm gonna try her tomorrow before looking for other possible causes (WGFV).
              Thanks Again!!!

New plugs are available from Audi for a few £. They normally come with wires attached for you to splice into the old loom.

                    Now I'm really confused!
I've checked the P/No of my MTFS, and it's 034919369c, but mine has only 3 pins
The Blue/Black cable appears to be the 'spare'...
Dare I assume this is correct??

MFTS limits boost, it isn't the cause of the over boost. Unplug the n75 and report back...

The MFTS only limits boost on the ABY and ADU (and maybe the 3B), but NOT the AAN. This is noted in my MFTS post and referenced to a Paul N. post here: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52820

I agree on the need to test boost with the N75 unplugged.

Soz, UrS4boy- I missed the link showing the 3 pin MFTS.
