3B Samco hoses???

Guys, is there any news or progress on the Samco hoses for us 3B guys?

I need to have most, if not all the hoses on mine changed before I off load the car as I dont think it'll sell in its current state.

If the Samco's are still some time away I'll have to go for the standard hoses, which if I've been informed correctly are more expensive.

I have till early november to sort these out, and other minor niggles,and then to desperately have a sale by end of November at the latest.

I think Paul was grabbing together the 3b hoses he had so that we could send them to SFS to get them to comment on build time and quote.

Not moved to far so far...I'd say that november might be a bit tight looking at the speed of the aby hoses.

Paul - any thoughts?

If you are shooting the car on, get some standard ones from my m8 Martyn at VAGparts. Im sure he can sort you out a good deal. Whats wrong with your current ones? Popped?

HI Audiman,

My current ones are pretty much b*gg*red. The guy I bought the car from didnt really look after the car, and the pipe that leads from the air in take has been strapped after quite heavily. Also, there are a few other pipes that need changing due to wear and tear (unfortunately im not too good with mechanics so dont know what the pipes are). Im getting severe turbo lag, and I dont really want someone else to suffer after buying the car. Also, by me fixing these things, Im hoping to get a little more on the asking price.

Paul N worked on my car when I first got it. And I ordered a list the length of both my arms from Martyn @ VAG parts (all brake and suspension related work).

Martyn expect a call from me in the near future, sir.

Alps - Let's have a chat m8y - I have a parts list prepped for Martyn already. The tappets are a ****** price wise so a bit of shopping around is required there...

Paul, how much were the tappets. I priced some up a while ago from Audi and they were £10+VAT ea. Also priced them up at GSF they were £6+VAT ea. Same make!

Never bothered to replace them, i just took them apart and cleaned them out, never given a problem since.
